Acquired by the 7th Duke of Berwick and 14th Duke of Alba, Don Carlos Miguel Fitz-James Stuart, in March 1818.

On the back it says with a pen: W. VD. Velde de Joughe 1554". Despite the indication behind the canvas, attribution is doubtful.
